October 5th, 2011 will always be remembered as one of the saddest days of my life. My idol Steve Jobs passed away.

Steve Jobs was the father of the Macintosh. A true visionary, icon, innovator and genius. He was responsible for saving Apple Computer, the computer company he started back on April 1st 1976. Steve Jobs brought Apple back from the brink of bankruptcy to one of the most profitable and respected companies in the world. His vision, innovation, dedication and passion helped Apple Computer engineer and develop some of the finest electronics and technologies available today. Steve Jobs and Apple Computer revolutionized the computer industry.

Unfortunately, without Steve Jobs Apple Computer will never be the same. I can only hope that Apple Computer will honor his memory and continue to innovate with new products and technologies, as Steve Jobs would have!

On a personal note, I fell in love with the Mac the first 30 minutes I spent playing on a Macintosh II back in 1988. Apple Computer's products have brought so much enjoyment into my life and at the same time emptied my bank account but it was worth every cent. My motto was "If Apple made it, I bought it"!
